Nigeria: 70% population depends on agriculture

Agriculture in Nigeria is known as major source of economy for Nigeria since the time immemorial. It has been providing employment for about 70 per cent of the population who lives in the rural areas.

Reports have it that the sector in Nigeria has witnesses some transformation, especially through commercialization of small, medium and large-scale enterprise (SMEs).
