World Cancer Day: CancerAware, ARCON, LUTH collaborate on free breast cancer screening - NaijaAgroNet

To commemorate the 2019 World Cancer Day, a non-government organization, CancerAware is collaborating with the Association of Radiation and Clinical Oncologists of Nigeria (ARCON) and the Department of Radiotherapy & Oncology, Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) to offer free Community Breast Cancer Screening Outreach, reports NaijaAgroNet.

This, NaijaAgroNet gathered would take place on Friday, 8th February 2019 beginning from 9am till 2pm.

According to CancerAware, the screening would take place at the Old Children’s Emergency (Behind D Block) Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH), Idi-Araba, Surulere, Lagos.

NaijaAgroNet also gathered that beneficiaries would receive free clinical breast examination, free mammograms for women aged 40 and above.

CancerAware also promises a free tutorial on breast self-examinations.
