The condition currently effects 149 Million children worldwide, limiting future growth and potential; The COVID-19 Pandemic predicted to cause widespread increases in malnutrition due to disruptions in food, health and social protection systems.

Police summons Otesile family, Lavika Farms - NaijaAgroNet: ... Linking agrobiz, sustainable environs, people & technology

The Commissioner of Police Ogun State Command, CP Abdulmajid Ali, has demanded the presence of the Otesile family over their illegal take over of a 16 acre parcel of farmland in Majo village in the Obefemi Owode Local Government area of the state, reports NaijaAgroNet.

This was subsequent to a petition written to the Police Commissioner after agents and thugs operating under the name of Lavika Farms invaded and destroyed portions of the farmland owned and managed legitimately by one Mr Tesleem Adewuyi and Mr Femi Alabi.
Mr Adewuyi and Mr Alabi had legally purchased (with documentations) 16 acres of land from the Deyoruwa Family of Owode Egba, which shares a boundary with the Otesile Family land, and had been using their land for farming until December 2019 when the Otesile Family and their agents forcefully invaded and destroyed the farmland.

Dr. Fayemi who alongside the Osemowe of Ondo Kingdom, Oba Victor Kiladejo, former Governor of Ekiti State, Engr Segun Oni, Chairman Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria, Prof Abba Waziri, and other reputable individuals performed the foundation laying of nibe other projects at the ABUAD industrial Park, described the Founder of the institution as a man of endless possibilities.

Federal Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, has said the Anchor Borrowers Programme and the Presidential Fertilizer Initiative are revolutionizing agriculture in Nigeria, reports NaijaAgroNet.
The Minister made the remarks in Birnin Kudu, Jigawa State, when he led a Federal Government delegation on an inspection of Malam Alu Agro Allied Company Limited, which also hosts the tallest national flag pole in Nigeria and the second in Africa at 50 metres high.

The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) says it remains committed to the promotion of sustainable environment across it operations, stressing that its energy transition programme and support for carbon neutral projects are proofs of that commitment.
The Group Managing Director of the Corporation, Mallam Mele Kyari, stated this at an event organized by the Group Health, Safety, Environment Department to mark this year’s World Environment Day.
