The Nasarawa State Government has unveiled a multisectoral plan of action for nutrition, reports NaijaAgroNet.
Source close to the Government House, informed NaijaAgroNet that the Nasarawa State Multisectoral Plan of Action for Nutrition (NSMSPAN) was formally unveiled by the Deputy Governor of the State, Dr. Emmanuel A. Akabe last weekend in Lafia.
While unveiling the plan, Dr. Akabe said, “Be rest assured that this plan developed; in its implementation in Nasarawa state, we shall follow it page by page, letter by letter and we shall exceed all your expectations."
In a congratulatory message to the state government, CS-SUNN said this is a major landmark in strengthening synergy among sectors towards addressing malnutrition in the state.
NaijaAgroNet gathered that the NSMSPAN is to be implemented from 2020-2025.
CS-SUNN, NaijaAgroNet also gathered, provided technical guidance and supported the state government in the finalization and printing of the nutrition multi-sectoral plan.
