Infrastructure giant, IHS Holding Limited (IHS Towers) has officially released its 2025 Sustainability Report, demonstrating a massive acceleration in its environmental, social, and climate-change initiatives, with Nigeria serving as the anchor for its primary ecological and community milestones, reports NaijaAgroNet.

Beyond shrinking its operational carbon footprint, IHS Towers scaled up its climate action interventions across Nigeria to heavily impact public health and promote green energy adoption:
In a strategic partnership with the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA), IHS provided 5,000 households with Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) cylinders and cookers to promote clean cooking alternatives and combat toxic indoor air pollution.
To boost community safety and alternative energy penetration, the infrastructure giant distributed and installed 700 units of solar-powered streetlights across off-grid communities nationwide.
On the international front, the 2025 report highlighted a deep commitment to biodiversity conservation and sustainable land-use management:
In collaboration with the Institute of Conservation and Sustainable Development of the Amazon (Idesam), IHS commenced the planting of over 25,000 seedlings across nine hectares of degraded land in Brazil’s Amazon region.
The company launched an innovative pilot project with ApiFusion at two rural tower sites, pioneering sustainable beekeeping models to drive local community empowerment and protect vital pollinator populations.
