Lagos CS-SUNN commences week-long workshop on 'winning proposals' - NaijaAgroNet

The Lagos State chapter of the Civil Society Scaling-Up Nutrition in Nigeria (CS-SUNN) has concluded plans for a week-long capacity building for its members on ‘winning proposals’ reports NaijaAgroNet.
Disclosing this, the chapter coordinator, Dr. Mrs Modupe Akinyinka, said the exercise would hold for qualifying members only with the theme: Writing grant winning proposals.
According to her, it’s a weeklong session commencing Monday, January 17 through Friday 21st January, 2022 at the Golfview Hotel and Suites, Ikeja GRA, Lagos.

She further urged members to ensure prompt payment of annual dues to be able to benefit from the chapter programmes lined up for the year.

In line with the national office, she said that CS-SUNN strategic focal areas include partnership, advocacy, capacity building, evidence-based interventions and institutionalization of the movement to make certain Nigeria in no distance future becomes at a country where every citizen has food and is nutrition secured.

NaijaAgroNet recalls that CS-SUNN is a non-governmental, non-profit making alliance, made up of organizations with a shared vision to transform Nigeria into a country where every citizen has food and is nutrition secured by engaging government and non-state actors to raise awareness, sustain commitment and actions to effectively tackle under-nutrition in Nigeria.

The alliance was birthed in November, 2013 at Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria and formally inaugurated on the 7th of August, 2014.
