The Osun State government has summoned cooks and officials of the O-Meal at St James Primary School B, Owoope Osogbo following a food poisoning scare, reports NaijaAgroNet.

The incident which led to hospitalisation of some students saw the government raising tot he challenge by footing the hospital bills, even as the students have since been discharged.

Nigeria LNG Limited (NLNG) and the Rivers State Government have renewed their partnership to  continue to develop the healthcare and infrastructure in the state, reports NaijaAgroNet.

The Executive Governor of Rivers State, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, while welcoming the NLNG’s Executive Management led by the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Philip Mshelbila and Deputy Managing Director, Mr. Olalekan Ogunleye, pledged the Rivers State government of the company’s continuous support for the State through its corporate social responsibility (CSR) programmes to meet common goals of sustainable development (SDG).

FLOOD: ALeP urges NEMA, Anambra State govt to assist Awba-Ofemili victims - NaijaAgroNet

The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) and the Anambra State government led by Prof. Chukwuma Soludo have been asked to urgently assist flood victims in Awba-Ofemili town among others.

Awba-Ofemili is a community in Awka North Local Government Area of Anambra State and was heavily ravaged by the recent flood, sacking some villages including in Umuosite and some parts of Ege, Nkpuocha, Oka-akwu, Ngene Nkpumekwu communities to name a few.
