The chairman of the ECOWAS-Non-State Actors (ECONSA), Mr. Henry Roberts of Liberia, has called for recognition and full support by the members of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), reports NaijaAgroNet.

He also urged them to live-up to the Malabo Declaration of committing 10 per cent of annual budget through the African Union (AU) in 2014 under the auspices of the Comprehensive Africa Agriculture Development Programme (CAADP) commitment, which is Africa's policy framework for agricultural transformation, wealth creation, food security and nutrition, economic growth and prosperity for all.

The Oyo State Governor, ‘Seyi Makinde, on Tuesday, received a COVID-19 booster shot to further protect against COVID-19, just as he  flagged off the COVID-19 mass vaccination campaign in the state, held at the Aleshinloye Market, called on the people of the state to take advantage of the free service to get vaccinated.

In a statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Mr. Taiwo Adisa, the governor maintained that the flag-off was another logical step taken by the state to curtail the spread of COVID-19.
