Nigeria will on October 20, 2025, validate its revised National Gender Policy in Agriculture, a development set to reshape the country’s agricultural landscape with stronger inclusiveness and equity, reports NaijaAgroNet.
At the North-East Zonal Consultative Forum in Gombe State, the National Consultant, Nkiruka Okonkwo, explained that the policy review was undertaken to ensure every category of stakeholder—men, women, young people, and Persons With Disabilities (PWDs), is adequately represented in agricultural planning and implementation.
