A high-level delegation of Executive Board members and senior staff of the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) began an official one-week visit to Egypt at the weekend, to observe the impact of IFAD's investments in the country, reports NaijaAgroNet.

The delegates are representatives from Argentina, Cameroon, Côte d'Ivoire, France, Germany, and Nigeria.

A press statement by Ms. Victoria Ose Udoh, Programme Co-ordinator of the Centre said, the training is the third in the series and is designed to run for 3 days. According to her, the 3-day training is expected to commence on the 13^th through to 15^th of October 2021. Introducing the bill during plenary, the majority leader, Dr. Nnamdi Okafor explained that the bill is aimed at arresting any form of open cattle rearing and grazing in Anambra State, promote modern techniques in animal husbandry, prevent the destruction of farms by nomads as well as stop killings and herder - farmer clashes in the state.
