The African Centre for Leadership, Strategy and Development (Centre LSD) under her BUILD grant by Ford Foundation is set to build the Capacity of representatives of Mining Host Communities & Artisanal Miners in Taraba State, with the aim of mainstreaming gender in the various value chains of the extractive industry.
A press statement by Ms. Victoria Ose Udoh, Programme Co-ordinator of the Centre said, the training is the third in the series and is designed to run for 3 days. According to her, the 3-day training is expected to commence on the 13th through to 15th of October 2021. The training is expected to deepen participants knowledge on leadership and organization, negotiation, Crafting Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)/Community Development Agreement (CDA), public speaking, livelihood, entrepreneurship, gender in the extractives, amongst others.
